About the
Chief One yacht

Step aboard the Chief One, an illustrious yacht crafted in 1984 at the Palmer Johnson shipyard, a vessel that transcends time and geography. Designed by the legendary Ron Holland, this aluminum-hulled beauty effortlessly glides through the seas at a remarkable 9-10 knots (with engine) and up to 24 knots with sails.

Chief One’s legacy is etched in its global expeditions, from the icy realms of Antarctica to navigating the tumultuous waters of Cape Horn and the Drake Passage.

Having been hosted on the Marshall Islands, this remarkable yacht has ventured where others couldn’t, thanks to its qualified captain and perfect crew.

Now, as we set our compass to the northern hemisphere, Chief One is ready to conquer the Arctic wonders of Northern Norway, from the captivating Lofoten to the majestic Svalbard.

Our nautical marvel born of a six-month renovation starting in April 2023.

The yacht, now boasting three additional cabins and a third bathroom, offers a haven of luxury amidst the Arctic wilderness. With a total of 5 cabins accommodating 2 and 3 passengers, and a spacious mess hall with a common area for tourists-sailors, Chief One beckons those seeking a distinctive Arctic expedition. Modernizations introduced for the adventurous include northern lights chasing, whale and killer whale watching, and snowshoe treks, all complemented by the unspoiled beauty of the north.

As you embark on this Arctic adventure with Chief One, relish in the region’s finest flavors. Indulge in delicious breakfasts and dinners prepared with naturally sourced, incredibly fresh regional products—from succulent fish and seafood to savory meats hailing from the pristine regions of Northern Norway.
